Teen Writing Contest 2018

Entries accepted March 1st through 30th, 2018!

Branch District Library proudly presents the first annual Teen Writing Contest! This contest is open to all writers ages 13 to 18. Entrants will be competing in three categories: short story, flash fiction, and poetry. Submissions may belong to any genre you can dream up.

One grand prize of a $50 Amazon Gift Card will be awarded in each category! The contest will be judged by local volunteers.

Traveling Tales: Argentina

Tween Programming at the Branch District Library Coldwater Branch

For ages 10-12 yrs. If you're the squeamish type, you'll want to avoid this club! We'll be making fake blood, various candy concoctions and potions along with possible explosion or two! Parents/caregivers are welcomed if space permits but not necessary!

Sensation Station for 18 mos-3 years at the Coldwater Branch

Coldwater

For ages 15 months-3 yrs. Age Appropriate self-directed sensory activities along with a snack. Sorting, scooping, pouring, shaking through a variety of materials, along with musical movement. Caregivers supervise their children during this informal gathering. No registration required but due to space constraints, we will need to limit the total participants to 15 children.
