The Coldwater Branch is the main location of the Branch District Library. Our historic building is a defining feature of the main intersection in town. We have lots to offer you, so come see us soon!

Rightfully Hers: Celebrating the Centennial of the 19th Amendment

The Branch District Library is proud to join in the celebration of the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution. On August 18, 1920, Tennessee was the last of the states needed to ratify the amendment prohibiting denying the right to vote on the basis of sex. For the month of August, please visit the Coldwater Branch to view the pop-up display of the Rightfully Hers Exhibit from the National Archives Museum.

Nature Nuts! Native Wildlife

What kind of critters are roming around your backyard?  We'll talk about the different species of wildlife you can find in Branch County, and what you can do to give them a better home.  All families with children are invited to join us for this great program in Kids' Place.  Presented by the Branch County Conservation District.
