COVID-19 Response Update

March 17, 2020

The Library is Closed

All Branches are closed to the public until further notice, starting March 16. Library programs have been canceled until at least April 25 and meeting spaces are unavailable, even if we are open before then. Any already on our hold shelves at the library are being mailed out to patrons this week, but new holds won’t be possible until we reopen.

Library Board Meeting to be Live Streamed for Tonight

In this unprecedented time, we have to be flexible. An executive order by the Governor has required that libraries be closed to the public as of 3pm today, 3/16. As a result, we cannot have the building open to the public as originally planned for tonight's Board meeting. But with no real indication of when things might get back to normal, ignoring library governance for an extended period is also not a good option.

Adult Craft for Tonight is Canceled

The Adult Craft program scheduled tonight for 5:30pm has been cancelled.  It will be rescheduled for Monday, April 20 at 5:30pm.  We apologize for any inconvenience this last minute change has caused.

Sewing with Fran

Thursday, March 26 from 11:00am-1:00pm

Fran Fletcher will teach participants basic techniques on their sewing machines.  Bring your own machine and we'll provide the snacks!

Nature Nuts! Native Wildlife

Thursday, March 19 from 5:30-6:30pm

What kind of critters are roming around your backyard?  We'll talk about the different species of wildlife you can find in Branch County, and what you can do to give them a better home.  All families with children are invited to join us for this great program in Kids' Place.  Presented by the Branch County Conservation District.
