Branch District Library has book clubs for a variety of ages to enjoy! With several clubs to join, book lovers can chat with each other about what they’re reading, and best of all: there is something for everyone! New members are always welcomed!
- Book Lovers R' Us at the Bronson Branch: This untraditional Book Club will not have a set list of titles to read. Come for coffee and donuts and share what book/books you read last month. Loved it, hated it, recommend it? This club meets monthly on the 1st Monday of the month at 10:15 am.
- Classics Book Club at the Coldwater Branch: Do you enjoy reading juvenile classic novels? Well this is the book club for you! Each month we will read a different classic novel and join together to chat about the book in a non-traditional book club setting! This is a book club for all ages. Meetings will take place on Sep. 9, Oct. 15, and Nov. 11 at 4:00 pm.
- The September title is Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.
- The October title is Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz.
- The November title is The Eyes and the Impossible by Dave Eggers.
- Morning Book Club at the Coldwater Branch: Join us at the Coldwater Branch, at 10:00 am, the 4th Wednesday of every month. This fiction/nonfiction book club explores a diverse array of literature.
- The September title is The September House by Carissa Orlando.
- The October title is I Know Who You Are: How an Amateur DNA Sleuth Unmasked the Golden State Killer and Changed Crime Fighting Forever by Barbara Rae-Venter.
- The November title is This Tender Land by William Kent Krueger.
- Romance Book Club at the Coldwater Branch: Do you like Spicy 🌶️🌶️ Romance books? Are you a fan of grumpy/sunshine, second chance romance, forced proximity, Enemies to lovers and opposites attract tropes? Then you will love our Romance Book Club! Come out and enjoy a good book, with a guaranteed happily ever after with good company! This club meets at the Coldwater Branch at 4:00 pm, the 2nd Tuesday of every month.
- The September title is Funny Story by Emily Henry.
- The October title is Haunted Ever After by Jen DeLuca.
- The November title is The Truth According to Ember by Danica Nava.
- Book Club at the Union Twp. Branch: A monthly gathering of adults for book discussions. Meetings will be held on Sep. 18, Oct. 16, and Nov. 13 at 4:00 pm.
- The September title is After Annie by Anna Quindlen.
- The October title is The Women by Kristin Hannah.
- The November title is The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.
