Branch District Library has book clubs for a variety of ages to enjoy! With several clubs to join, book lovers can chat with each other about what they’re reading, and best of all,  there is something for everyone! New members are always welcomed!

What is Bookclubs?
It is a free, easy-to-use app and website that helps book clubs stay organized and engaged. Bookclubs makes it easy to track upcoming meetings, suggested books to read, and see previous book club picks. 

Book Lovers 'R' Us at the Bronson Branch 

This nontraditional Book Club will not have a set list of titles to read. Share what book/books you read last month. Loved it, hated it, recommend it? This club meets monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 10:30am. 

Murder Mystery Book Club at the Bronson Branch

If you enjoy murder mystery books, join this club for great discussions and snacks! This book club is for adults and meets the first Monday of the month at 4:30. The full list of 2025 titles can be found here.

Romance Book Club

Do you like Spicy 🌶️🌶️ Romance books? Are you a fan of grumpy/sunshine, second chance romance, forced proximity, enemies to lovers, and opposites attract tropes? Then you will love our Romance Book Club!  Come out and enjoy a good book, with a guaranteed happily ever after, with good company! The Romance Book Club will meet at the Coldwater Branch on the second Tuesday of every month, enjoy a snack tailored to each book we are reading.

Books On Tap Book Club

This fiction/non-fiction book club explores a diverse array of literature! This club will meet monthly on the fourth Wednesday at Trainwreck Grill & Ale House at 6:00 pm. All Booked Up

Gather with fellow readers at the Broadway Grille in Union City, where lively discussion and a welcoming atmosphere await. This club meets on the second Thursday at 4:00 pm. 

Drive By Book Club

A small book club with casual reads on the go! Read the monthly selection, then visit the bookmobile at any stop and discuss the book with staff and other readers.

Books, Coffee, & Conversation

Local History Book Club

We will be reading Waiting for Home: The Richard Prangley Story by John Schneider
Brittany, our Holbrook Heritage Room Coordinator will join us for the book discussion. Brittany will also bring the Coldwater State Home Scrapbooks to explain and view. Join us Mon, Nov 9 @ 4:00P at the Coldwater Branch.

Copies of the books are available at Branch District Library, and may be available online from our digital library providers Hoopla or Libby. Additional copies of titles can be requested from the statewide lending system, MeL.org. Please allow 7-10 days for your request to be delivered to the library.
