Friends of the Quincy Library are offering Letters to Santa during the Chamber's Quincy Lights festivities Friday, December 7 from 5:30-7.  Parents and children can enter the south library door (between the library and the post office) to enjoy color sheets and Christmas music - as well as all the activities downtown!

Come join Saylor and Miss Christy as they share the art of paper quilling on Saturday, December 15 from 1-2 pm. This event is suggested for ages 7-12. (parent/caregivers are welcomed to join in the fun.) This event will take place in the 4th floor meeting room.  All supplies are provided compliments of the Fraley family.

Our favorite red elf is back again this year to share a very special seasonal story with children and their families on Saturday, Dec 15. Santa will be available for family photos beginning at 10 am. He'll share the story of "The Nutcracker" with the children at 10:30. Following the story, he and his elves will give away a hardback copy of the book to the first 75 families. All the children in attendance will receive a gift certificate from the Book Haven of Quincy. Family photos will continue until noon. Come make some seasonal memories while enjoying a cookie or two!

Please join Kids' Place staff any of the following evenings from 5:30-6:30 to create a unique angel just in time for the holidays. Dates are: Tuesday, Dec 11, Wednesday, Dec 12 or Thursday, Dec 13. This craft does require adult help.
