The Library is Closed
All Branches are closed to the public until further notice, starting March 16. Library programs have been canceled until at least April 25 and meeting spaces are unavailable, even if we are open before then. Any already on our hold shelves at the library are being mailed out to patrons this week, but new holds won’t be possible until we reopen.
Available Online Resources
BDL patrons have free online access to thousands of great digital books, videos, music, and more through Hoopla and Libby, and we encourage you to use these services right from your home. Visit the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store on your device for the apps, or point your desktop browser to www.BranchDistrictLibrary.org/digital.
Need a Library Card?
Need a library card to take advantage of our digital library services? Apply online at www.BranchDistrictLibrary.org/apply. Your library card will be mailed to your home address within a few days, as staffing and postal service allows.
Library Card Expired?
If your card expires during our closure, it’s being automatically renewed. If your card expired earlier, or you have other questions, just email us at info@BranchDistrictLibrary.org.
Items Already Checked Out?
Just keep them! Due dates for items from our shelves have been extended into April, and we’ll keep extending them if we need to. We already didn’t have overdue fines, so don’t worry about due dates! MeLCat items can be returned when we open again.
Wi-Fi is On
The WiFi is turned on at all 6 branches and can be used from our parking lots 24/7!
