John received his Master's degree from the University of Kentucky in 2003 and started at BDL soon after in the Information Technology Department. He became Assistant Director in 2006 and served as Interim Director three times before becoming Director in April of 2019.
John is passionate about tech, and loves how libraries are a great equalizer in providing access to technology for all people in the community. He has been active with the Coldwater Downtown Development Authority and Branch County Community Theatre, he volunteers with the Coldwater Schools Band Boosters, and he loves all things drums and percussion.
