The community is invited to the unveiling of the new Quincy StoryWalk® installation on June 26, 2024 at 11:00 AM in the Quincy Park on Hawley Street. Attendees can enjoy a ribbon cutting ceremony, bubbles, cookies, giveaways, and other fun activities! This event is free and open to the public.
A StoryWalk® is a fun activity that engages families in literacy and getting active. Pages from a children’s book are printed and placed in displays along the sidewalk. The first book selected is "Wordy Birdy Meets Mr. Cougarpants" by Tammi Sauer and illustrated by Dave Mottram.
The Quincy StoryWalk® would not be possible without the support of the Quincy Community. Thank you to the service clubs, businesses, and private individuals who contributed to the project.
