In March we celebrate National Reading Month, originally designated to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Branch District Library encourages everyone of all ages to read—every day! During the month of March, participate in a Reading Challenge, join a book club, One Book One County book discussion, or storytime session, and READ!
Reading Challenges:
The Coldwater Branch is hosting a month long reading challenge for two groups; kids and teens. Pick up a copy, or download below, the tracking sheets. Return at at the end of the month and get a prize!
One Book One County 2024:
The Library is pleased to announce the 2024 One Book One County Selection is Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelby Van Pelt.
This annual program encourages all of Branch County to read the same title and come together to discuss. The program will run until March 30 and discussions are held at all six locations. For information including how to get a copy of the book visit any library location or online here.
Storytimes for Children:
Storytimes offer age-appropriate books, music, and activities for children of all ages! Spring storytimes happen at all six locations. See our Event Calendar for dates and times!
Book Clubs:
