We have received our first pictures of our Bookmobile! It was manufactured at Morgan Olson in Sturgis, Michigan. Currently, it is in North Carolina with Matthews Specialty Vehicles, Inc. They will take the space and prepare it for our mobile library inside and out.
This library on wheels will hold approximately 2000 items. It will offer all the library services you know and love! The Bookmobile will have a regular route across Branch County. Also, planned stops at schools, assisted living facilities, and anywhere else that will have us. We can't wait to roll this out to your community in 2024!
BDL is currently accepting monetary donations to help "stuff the bus". You can donate online through our website or pick up a donation form at any library location.
