History of What You've Read
Recently, there has been some questions from patrons as to how they can keep track of what they've read from the library. The good news is that anyone at any time may set up a list of things they have read or would like to read by using the My Bookbags feature of our Evergreen catalog.
Click on the "Help" link at the bottom of any page in our catalog to learn more about how bookbags work. You can have as many as you want, and they can be private or public. A teacher might make a public bookbag, for example, to share a list of books on a topic for a class project.
There are also some fine web sites that can help you keep track of what you've read and what you want to read. Two popular sites are Shelfari and Goodreads. These sites can help you to keep track of books that are not in our catalog, let you write little notes and reviews about them to jog your memory in the future, and have social networking components where you can share ratings and see what your friends are reading, too.
